The University of Cartagena was established in 1827. The university has an exemplary experience of almost 194 years in imparting academic knowledge in the subjects of Economic Sciences: Economics, Business, Industrial Management, and Accounting, Humanities: Philosophy, History, Linguistics and Literature, Engineering: Civil Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Social Sciences: Social Communication, Social Work, Foreign Languages, Natural Sciences: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Metrology, Pharmaceutical Sciences: Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Law and Political Science: Law, Nursing, Medicine, Dentistry, Languages.
