About ShengJing Hospital of China Medical University

ShengJing Hospital of China Medical University was established in 1883 to fulfill among other ambitions as a base for education, research and development. This is the first hospital teaching and practicing western medicine in North eastern China. With a well-equipped staff of 6,152 are health professionals that include 535 professors and associate professors or equivalent, 132 supervisors for doctoral degree students, 291 supervisors for master’s degree students, the institution aims to bring about health care reform and climbing up to the new peak of medical innovation. The institution offers 47 second- or third-level specialties that offer clinical master’s degrees and 39 second- or third-level specialties that confer clinical doctoral degrees. Medical Imaging and Clinical Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Diagnostics, Infectious Diseases, Surgery, Neurology and Traditional Chinese Medicine are some of the subjects taught in the organization.
