Shandong University, established in 1901, is a comprehensive university with the motto of “Noble in Spirit, Boundless in Knowledge”. With over 18 disciplines, collaborations with nearly 200 universities and students from almost 30 countries and regions, the university stands as one of the largest universities of China. The student population of the institution stands at 70,000, of which 42,268 are undergraduates, 26,818 are postgraduates and 1,560 are international students. The faculty team of the university include 1,246 professors, and 897 doctoral supervisors.
