About Active Citizenship Network

Active Citizen Network, as the name implies is a network of European civic organizations that is a mirror of the Italian civic participation organization, Cittadinanzattiva that behave as partners in its various projects, addressed to encourage active participation of citizens in European policy-making and was founded in 2001. A few of its responsibilities in alignment with the Chittadinazattiva’s Italian policies are health, corporate social responsibility, education and training at the global level. This organization strives to strengthen the relationship between institutions and citizens. Facilitating research, conducting internship, collaborating and hosting interns and volunteers from university students and graduates, are some of the functions of ACN that aid in the organization’s policy of raising awareness and engaging citizens.
