JBRES is committed to supporting researchers facing financial constraints. Our waiver and discount policy is designed to ensure that high-quality research can be published based on scientific merit, regardless of an author’s funding status or geographic location.

APC Waiver & Fee Support Policy

JBRES recognizes that many researchers and institutions operate with limited funding. As a Gold Open Access journal, we ensure published articles are freely available to the global community. To keep publishing accessible, we provide waivers and fee-support options for eligible authors—without compromising peer-review standards or editorial integrity.

Fairness Promise: Waiver requests do not affect editorial decisions. Peer review is based only on research quality and scope.

Eligibility Overview

Waivers are assessed using recognized economic classifications (e.g., World Bank country income groups) and/or documented funding limitations. If you are unsure about eligibility, you may apply—our team will guide you.

Low-Income Countries

Authors from Low-Income Countries may be granted up to 75% waiver, based on eligibility and review outcome.
