JBRES Grant & Travel Assistance Program
The Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences (JBRES) supports Open Science by recognizing valuable contributors and helping eligible authors publish and share their research. Our grant program is designed to provide publication fee support (APC assistance) and, in selected cases, travel assistance for conferences and academic events associated with JBRES initiatives.
Why JBRES Offers Grants
Open access publishing ensures that research is immediately available to clinicians, scientists, educators, policymakers, and the public. However, not every author has the same funding access. JBRES grants help bridge that gap by supporting deserving contributors so high-quality research can reach a global audience without unnecessary barriers.
We acknowledge strong scientific contribution, editorial support, peer review participation, and community-building activities.
Selected recipients can use grants toward APC support for accepted manuscripts (full or partial coverage depending on case).
In selected cases, grants may provide travel assistance for JBRES-related conferences/events or special privileges for participation.
Who Can Apply
JBRES grant applications are open to researchers, scientists, professors, clinicians, and contributors across the journal’s scope (Medicine, Biology, General Sciences, and Environmental Sciences). Applicants should demonstrate meaningful academic contribution and alignment with JBRES values: scientific integrity, novelty, and usefulness to the research community.
