JBRES follows a gold open-access model. Article Processing Charges (APCs) support peer-review management, professional editing and production, DOI registration, and permanent hosting and archiving. No payment is required at submission— APCs are discussed only after peer review and final acceptance.

Withdrawal Policy

Authors may request withdrawal at any time during submission or peer review by emailing the editorial office. However, if a manuscript has already been accepted or assigned a PDF/DOI and moved into production, operational and production resources will have been used.

Withdrawal Fee (After Acceptance / DOI / PDF)

If withdrawal is requested after acceptance or after DOI/PDF assignment, a withdrawal fee will apply: 35% of the original publication charges.
