Summary

 Dr. Zafar Rasheed received his research training at the JN. Medical College, AMU. India, where he also earned his PhD degree in Medical Biochemistry. Afterwards he joined as a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, USA. At this postdoctoral position he performed extensive studied on human cartilage biology, inflammation and arthritis. He continued these studies during a second postdoc at Columbia, University of South Carolina, USA. Dr. Rasheed then pursued further investigation into the cartilage biology with microRNAs regulatory mechanisms during his third postdoctoral appointment at the MetroHealth Medical Center, Ohio, USA. Dr. Rasheed has a long list of publications including several highly relevant papers focused on cellular immunology, inflammation and micoRNAs. He has been serving the scientific community as a professional editor for many scientific journals. He received number of grants in his current position as researcher at College of Medicine, Qassim University, Saudi Arabia.
