Biography
Qian Ma, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Life Science College at Qingdao Agricultural University in Shandong Province, China. Dr. Ma got her Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Education of Qingdao Agricultural University, Qingdao, China, and received her Master Degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics program in Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Beijing, China. She finished her Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Biotechnology program of Michigan State University, East Lasing, USA, and developed her research interests in ethylene signaling. Then she worked in Qingdao Agricultural University, Qingdao, China, and focused her research on biochemical, genomics, functional genomics, molecular biology, and bioinformatics approaches to uncover the mechanisms in ethylene regulated salt response in plants.
