Dr.
Roy Yang Luo is currently a joint research scientist at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) & Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). He
received his B.E. in Metallurgical Engineering, one Ph.D. in Chemical
Technology and another Ph.D. in Applied Physics, from Central South
University (2014), Chinese Academy of Sciences (2018), and City
University of Hong Kong (2020), respectively. His research interests are
focused on surface and coatings plasma technologies for environmental
and energy applications. He has published more than 30 papers in peer
reviewed journals including Nano Energy, ACS Applied Materials &
Interfaces, Chemical Engineering Journal, Small, Journal of Cleaner
Production, Applied Surface Science, Journal of the European Ceramic
Society, etc. His H-index is 11.
