Summary
Graduated in Biological Sciences (2010) from the Federal University of Grande Dourados (2010), Master in General Biology / Bioprospecting (2013) from the Federal University of Grande Dourados and PhD in Biotechnology and Biodiversity (2018) from the Pró-Centro-Rede West / UFGD. Has experience in bioprospecting of medicinal plants and fruits of the Cerrado in preclinical (in vivo) studies of obesity, hyperlipidemia and toxicity as well as in vitro studies related to cellular antioxidant activity, cytotoxic and cancer. In addition, he has experience in bromatological studies. He is a member of the Study Group on Biotechnology and Bioprospecting Applied to Metabolism (GEBBAM). He is currently a CNPq - Level C Industrial Technological Development Fellow at the Molecular Biology and Cell Culture laboratory developing research on medicinal plants with interest in elucidating the cytotoxic effects on tumor cells and identifying the mechanisms of action involved in cell death.
