This Special Issue of the Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences (JBRES) invites high-quality submissions that advance the engineering of next-generation biomedical solutions. We welcome work that innovates in synthetic biology & gene editing, develops regenerative & bioprinting technologies, and demonstrates translational & real-world impact across medical, therapeutic, and biofabrication applications.

Synthetic & Gene Engineering
CRISPR/prime/base editing, synthetic circuits, engineered microbes/cells, AI-designed proteins, multiplex editing, epigenetic tools.
Regenerative & Translational Bio

About this Special Issue

Biomedical engineering thrives when innovative design meets biological precision to create transformative solutions. This Special Issue focuses on next-generation bioengineering—from synthetic biology and advanced gene editing to regenerative constructs, bioprinting, and translational applications. We especially welcome submissions that report transparent methods, robust functional outcomes, and insights that can accelerate personalized medicine, tissue repair, and sustainable biotech.

Preference is given to studies with clear outcomes (efficacy, scalability, safety), robust analysis, and a concise “What this changes in practice” statement.
