Summary
Prof. Yassin obtained his Ph. D in Environmental Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan. He is a Research Scientist at the Environmental Pollution and Climate Program, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). Before joining KISR, he worked in the Faculty of Engineering, Assiut University, Egypt, and the Wind Engineering Research Center (WERC), Tokyo Polytechnic University, Japan, and Naces Center for Mathematical Modeling, Faculty of Nuclear Science of the Czech Technical University, Czech and College for Life science, Kuwait University, Kuwait. His research interests are in the following areas: outdoor air quality modeling and assessment, numerical simulation (CFD models), and physical simulation (Wind tunnel modeling). He has supervised a lot of master and Ph. D students. He is an associated editor, editorial board and reviewer for international journals and books. He has more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals, books, and conferences.
