Dr. Roy Yang Luo is currently a joint research scientist at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) & Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). He received his B.E. in Metallurgical Engineering, one Ph.D. in Chemical Technology and another Ph.D. in Applied Physics, from Central South University (2014), Chinese Academy of Sciences (2018), and City University of Hong Kong (2020), respectively. His research interests are focused on surface and coatings plasma technologies for environmental and energy applications. He has published more than 30 papers in peer reviewed journals including Nano Energy, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Chemical Engineering Journal, Small, Journal of Cleaner Production, Applied Surface Science, Journal of the European Ceramic Society, etc. His H-index is 11.

Dr. Huachao Yang was in 2021 appointed Research Fellow (equivalent Assistant Professor) at Zhejiang University. He is now working at the College of Energy Engineering and State Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Utilization. He received his Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University in 2018. He was a postdoctoral research associate at Zhejiang University from 2018 to 2021. His research interests include nanoscale heat and mass transfer, multiscale simulation (density functional theory and molecular dynamics simulation) and two-dimensional nanomaterials for energy storage and thermal management applications. He has published > 64 SCI papers with citations of > 1750 times and two books on nanoscale mass transfer and energy storage. Now he is appointed as the Editorial Member of Advances in Applied Sciences, Applied Chemical Engineering, Energy Research, Global Journal of Energy Technology Research Updates etc.
