Biography
Hangjun Zhang is currently a professor of Hangzhou Normal University. He joined the College of Life and Environmental Sciences in 2008 and now is the executive dean of the college. He is the director of Wetland Committee of Zhejiang Ecological Society, the director of Urban Ecology Committee of Zhejiang Environmental Science Society, an executive member of Zhejiang Ecological Society and the vice-chairman of Zhejiang Environmental Science Society. He is selected as the top young talent of Zhejiang Province and the academic leader of the young and middle-aged scientists in Zhejiang. Previously, He worked in Zhejiang University as a dual postdoctoral research scientist in chemistry and biology, and in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Rice University as a visiting scholar. He received his Ph.D. in environmental engineering from Zhejiang University, China in June 2006 and obtained a B.S. in Environmental Sciences at Zhejiang University, China in June 2001.
