Biography
The professor Dilier Olivera Viciedo is Agronomy Ph.D from the Sao Paulo State University (UNESP-Jaboticabal), Brazil. Agronomy Engineer graduated from the Central University Marta Abreu of the Villas (UCLV), by its Spanish initials) and he has a master’s degree on Agricultural Sciences from the University of Sancti Spiritus Jose Marti Perez (UNISS). He has developed an important work since he graduated from the (UCLV) and most recently in postgraduate studies, taking a special interest about the soil science, plant nutrition, climate change, water, compost, vermicompost and bio-fertilizers related studies. It has played part in different national and international projects in countries such as Cuba, Spain, Canada, and Brazil. Also, as a speaker at numerous scientific meetings and congress both in Cuba and abroad. Maintains relationships work and collaborates with researchers from different institutions and universities in Cuba, Spain, Brazil, Canada and other country. Author/co-authored several articles in scientific journals. Currently he is part of the (GENPLANT) and Eco-physiology of Tropical Plants (EPT) research groups.
