Vandana Gupta
Summary
Dr. Vandana Gupta is currently working as Associate Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Ram Lal Anand College, University of Delhi. She did her B.Sc (Hons.) in Microbiology from University of Delhi, followed by masters and Ph.D in Microbiology from Delhi University. She proceeded to Singapore for her Post doctoral work at Division of John Hopkins at Singapore in Genetic immunotherapy lab and worked on Construction and validation of LAMP targeted and non LAMP targeted DNA vaccine against SARS virus. She also worked on analysis of B-cell and T-cell epitopes within spike and nucleocapsid proteins both experimentally as well as bioinformatically. Currently she is pursuing her research in
• Bioinformatics with specialization in virtual screening of drugs against HCV, Chikungunya vurus, MRSA, ESBL-E. coli.
• Carbapenem drug resistance in Airoflora at non-hospital locations in Delhi.
