Biography
Dr. Yan has extensive research experience in translational biomedical informatics and systems biology, including more than 12 years as a group leader in the biopharmaceutical industry. Dr. Yan has published many research papers and edited five biomedical books, including "Systems Biology in Drug Discovery and Development: Methods and Protocols", "Pharmacogenomics in Drug Discovery and Development", and "Psychoneuroimmunology: Methods and Protocols". Dr. Yan received a Ph.D. degree in Biological and Medical Informatics from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
