Summary
Maria Salome Alvarez assistant professor in Chemical Engineering Department at University of Vigo (Spain). Previously, hewas joined, with a postdoctoral stay, in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department of the Princeton University (USA) and collaborating with the TECHNION Institute (Israel) aiming at obtaining renewable energies. Further, She collaborating with other international research groups such as Technological Institute of Sonora (ITSON), Prof. Ulloa (Mexico) or University of Dresde, Prof. Stolte (Germany). Additionally, She was team member of an international project financed by the US National Science Foundation (NSF) in collaboration with several international research groups.
Her main current research line is focused in the renewable energies from waste material and the development of biocompatible platforms for extracting pollutants and value-added chemicals. Her scientific activity includes 26 scientific articles, 23 communications in conferences,1 patent and she collaborate as a reviewer by 35 scientific journals.
