Biography
Lu Wang obtained a B.S. and a M.S. in environmental engineering at the Harbin Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in environmental engineering at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on the development of innovative solutions for urban water treatment through effective integration of fundamental science and applied engineering. His research areas include treatment of urban water with chemical oxidation and advanced oxidation methods, especially about the abatement of emerging organic contaminants, hazardous species and sludge with ferrate [Fe(VI)], permanganate [Mn(VII)], and persulfates.
