Andrei Korobeinikov
Summary
Andrei Korobeinikov got his PhD from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2001. Shortly after this he joined the Centre of Mathematical Biology of the University of Oxford as a research fellow of the New Zealand Foundation for Science, Research and Technology. In 2004 he was offered an Associate Professorship at Hokkaido University (Sapporo, Japan). In 2007 Andrei joined the newly established Mathematics and Applications Consortium for Science and Industry (MACSI) in the University of Limerick (Ireland) as a Senior Research Fellow. In 2011 Andrei won a prestigious Ramon i Cajal fellowship, and in 2012 joined the Centre for Research in Mathematics in Barcelona as the Mathematical Epidemiology group leader. From December 2019 Andrei is a Professor of Mathematics at Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an. China.
