Sex organs are organs of a body that are involved in sexual reproduction. These organs are generally classified into primary and secondary sex organs based on the role they play in aiding reproduction. It is important to have knowledge of sex organs to understand the emerging and complex understanding of sex as a spectrum rather than as a binary subject. Both scientific and philosophical keys to gender identity, reproduction, choice and consent can be perceived logically with better understanding of the sex organs.

Current Science on sex organs is rapidly progressing using advanced technology and decreasing stigma regarding these subjects. Academic papers collected in journals like Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences throw light on these scarcely discussed scientific topics. By providing unrestricted access to scholarly content on the current science of sex organs, these journals promote and perpetuate a better aware and functioning society.
