Substance Abuse is the term given to the excessive use of psychiatric drugs and other substances like alcohol and tobacco and is quite a severe condition. This condition can cause possible physical, social, and psychological harm, the use of some drugs may also lead to criminal penalties. It differs from addition in such a way it is possible to quit the intake of these substances while addiction is a chronic disease.
