Abstract

In 2014, the French National Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health Safety (Agence nationale de sécurité sanitaire de l'alimentation de l'environnement et du travail) in its annual report wrote: "Nanomaterials can be absorbed by the body and migrate to other organs, leading to a potential systemic risk.
