Dysthymia, also known as persistent depressive disorder is a very common mental condition defined by consistent low mood for at least 2 years and persistence of at least 2 other symptoms of depression. Anxiety, relationship conflicts, decreased life quality and suicidal thoughts are some of the consequences of this mental condition. Peer reviewed research on Dysthymia is a highly coveted field of science and articles are stored in the open access journals like Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences referred to by a diverse set of people in the scientific community.
