Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension is the build-up of blood pressure inside the skull without much reasons. The symptoms seem similar to a brain tumor; hence the diagnosis is important. Headache behind the eyes, ringing in the ears in time with the heartbeat and brief episodes of blindness are the most common symptoms of this condition. Though it is not life threatening in most cases, this medical condition can turn into a chronic condition that lasts lifelong.
