Sexually transmitted diseases are the conditions that are contagious through sexual contact. Also known as Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) or venereal disease (VD), these are not the consequence of having sex but also can be transmitted through needles and breastfeeding.
STD’s can include many bacterial and viral infections some of which consequences can be mild and some drastic. Treatment of these conditions results in happier and carefree yet cautious lifestyle. The simplest of these infections is Chlamydia and HIV can be considered harshest. Academic works about Sexually Transmitted Diseases help treat these conditions better. Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences is a collection of such academic works about sexually transmitted diseases that can be referred to by the medical professionals, professors and students.
