Suicide is generally a consequence or a result of mental illnesses such as major depression, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia and anxiety disorders. The behavior indicating suicidal tendencies are termed as suicidal behavior and these symptoms include severe moodiness, hopelessness, withdrawal, self-harm, threatening and talking about suicide.
This condition is treated using medication and therapy. Current Research Study of Suicidal Behavior attempts to find treatment and identification methods for this condition.
