Respiratory system is the network of organs responsible for the exchange of gases throughout the body. The viruses or bacteria affecting the functionality of this system and the resulting illnesses can be studied in the branch of science of respiratory Infections. The illnesses that come under respiratory infections include the common cold (head cold), the mild flu, tonsillitis, laryngitis, Lung Infections and sinus infection.
