He is an Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra - Coimbra Health School (IPC-ESTeSC) and Researcher at the University of Coimbra - Molecular Physics and Chemistry Research and Development Unit and at Labinsaúde - IPC-ESTeSC. He is currently the Coordinator of the Scientific-Pedagogical Unit of Biomedical Laboratory Sciences at ESTeSC, member of the School Council and member of the Technical-Scientific Council. Received 3 awards and/or honors. He works in the field of Medical and Health Sciences – Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologies. He is co-editor of the Scientific Journal of the Academic Network of Health Sciences of Lusofonia – RevSALUS. He was a member of the Editorial Board and editor of the Portuguese Journal of Biomedical Sciences. Author and co-author of national and international publications, as well as oral communications and in poster form, with an index h=10.     Dr. Ling Yin is currently an Academic Editor at Anhui Medical University and an Associate Professor at the Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center in China. She earned her PhD from South China Agricultural University in 2016 and has since conducted postdoctoral research at Fudan University and the University of Florida College of Medicine. Her research lies at the intersection of cancer immunology, gene therapy, and precision medicine, with a particular focus on multi-omics integration, AAV-based gene delivery systems, and immunomodulatory mechanisms in tumors and inflammatory diseases.

    Dr. Yin has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals such as Drug Discovery Today, Frontiers in Immunology, Molecular Therapy, and Journal of Medical Virology. She serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals including Gut, Cell Reports Medicine, and Clinical and Translational Medicine, and holds editorial roles with Frontiers in Immunology, Global Translational Medicine, iNew Medicine, and IntechOpen. She has also served as a conference speaker, session chair, and committee member at numerous international scientific gatherings.

    Her contributions to biomedical research have been recognized with several awards, including the Global Recognition Award (2024, 2026) and the High-Caliber Talent of Hefei City (2025). Dr. Yin is committed to advancing translational research that bridges molecular mechanisms and clinical applications.
