Dr. Bin Gong has completed his MD and Ph.D. at the age of 29 years from the Second Military Medical College in Shanghai, China and Postdoctoral studies at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He is an Assistant Professor in the Dept of Pathology and theDirector of Experimental Pathology and sncRNAomicscore at the Galveston National Laboratory at the UTMB. He has published more than 25 papers and has been serving as an editorial board member of reputed journals.

Dr. Cristiana Catena received her PhD in Clinical Science & Technology and Doctor of Medicine from University of Udine, Italy. She has over 332 publications including 111 Full papers in peer reviewed scientific journals and invited editorials and reviewers for official journals of scientific societies with Hirsh-index of citation: 22, and Impact Factor: 459. Her Scientific areas of interest are Molecular mechanisms of insulin-resistance, cardiovascular risk factors, left ventricular hypertrophy and metabolic Abnormalities etc and she has attended several National & International conferences as a speaker. Dr. Cristiana has over 20 years of research experience on Diseases and also received many Honors and Awards i.e. Research National Award, Research Award for Young Scientists, Grant Award etc.

Full professorship qualification received from the Italian Ministry of University & Research, January 2014. Director of the Stress Physiology Lab, University of Parma (since 2005) Director of the Stress Control Lab, Italian College of Osteopathy (since 2016)

Professional Experience:I performed about 8000 cardiac operations including the corrections of
GUCH. Extensive experience in coronary surgery both on pump and off-pump. All interventions are
perfomed wtih a minimally invasive approach when it is possible (J-upper ministernotomy, Heart Port
Acess; anterior mini-thoracotomy for aortic valve surgery; TAVI through trans-femoral and transapical
approaches) Extensive experience in mitral and aortic valve repair. I'm intersted in aortic root
surgery by remodelling or re-implantation technique and by CAVIAAR techniqueI'm also interested in
LVAD implantation and heart transplantation. Extensive experience in aortic arch surgery by Frozen
Elephant Trunk and Debranching techinques
