    Dr. Maria Grazia Spurio Psychotherapist (Ph.D.), an expert in neuropsychology with a master's degree in forensic psychology, lives and works in Rome, her interest in people and other cultures often lead her around the world. He has been for several years the President of the Psychological Academy "Mind and Greatness". He founded the high educational psychology school "Genius Academy". She works for the growth and the psychological well-being of individuals and families in the social relationships and within the world of work. She is currently involved in many free social initiatives, in particular as a founding member of the no-profit association "The children of Yucatan" (www.bambinidelloyucatan.org), she organizes humanitarian and charitable initiatives and events. She received her doctorate in Social and Psychological Researches and Disciplines from the La Sapienza University of Rome, she is currently an APA member (American Psychological Association) and Centstupsi member (Study Center for Psychiatry ). She received a second level master in neuropsychiatry and neuropsychology from L.U.M.S.A. The University of Rome, in collaboration with the San Camillo Forlanini Hospital in Rome, developing orientation and holistic approach to the individual in a bio-psycho-social perspective. Areas of professional interest include researches in the field of wellness and personal care in close connection with the medical, anatomical, psychological, and neural aspects of the human psyche.

Skilled in Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Research and Learning Disabilities. Graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and attended further education from University of Macedonia, in people with special needs and disabilities. She holds undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Psychology, as well as a Master’s and a PhD in Neuropsychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has many years of experience working with chronic disease patients as well as with people with disabilities. Her work has earned her many prestigious international awards. She has given lectures at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of Warsaw and Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Oslo. She is postdoctoral researcher doing her research in post operative cognitive dysfunction of cardiac surgery patients. She is the Global Engagement Representative of SLC and member of Global Membership Committee of International Neuropsychological Society, secretary general and president of the Ethics Committee of Hellenic Neuropsychological Society.
