  1. Tetiana V. Serebrovska

    Ukrainian

    Short Biography:

Professor of Physiology, Ph.D., Dr. Sci. Principal Researcher, Active member-academician of International Academy of Sciences, Holder of the medal of International Association of Scientists «For Honesty in Science»

Over forty years of scientific activity T. Serebrovska completed a large series of studies on the mechanisms of adaptation to hypoxia. She has organized and conducted dozens of research expeditions to Elbrus, the highlands of Tien Shan, she visited the mountain peaks of North and South America, Japan, Tibet and the Himalayas. Tatiana is one of the leading experts on the effects of intermittent hypoxia on the human body and the implementation of the method of intermittent hypoxic therapy in medical practice, particularly for the treatment of broncho-pulmonary and cardio-vascular diseases, Parkinson's disease, diabetes mellitus, male subfertility, to limit premature aging. She developed together with engineers new tools for individual hypoxic training and obtained the relevant domestic and international patents. Tetiana is a member of many scientific societies and editorial boards of different journals. She is the founder and co -President of the Polish-Ukrainian Working Group on the pathophysiology of respiration, an honorary member of the Polish Society Phthisiopulmonology. The result of scientific activity of T. Serebrovska is more than 340 scientific publications, including two monographs.

  2. Sara Feldman

    National University of Rosario

    Argentina

Since her early days as a graduate professional, Dr. Sara Feldman has dedicated herself exclusively to teaching and research, carrying out her post-graduate training not only at the National University of Rosario, where she received her doctorate, but also taking post-graduate courses and doing internships at other universities both nationally and internationally. His professional activity has always been linked to bone biology, initially from aspects of bone biomechanics and bone metabolism, and in the last fifteen years to pathologies of autoimmune nature that affect the joints and more deeply to bone regenerative medicine, applying tissue engineering strategies, an area in which he has published numerous works. He has received numerous awards and grants throughout his professional career. She is currently Director of LABOATEM, a laboratory of Osteoarticular Biology, Tissue Engineering and Emerging Therapies. She does this from her positions as Principal Investigator of CONICET, and simultaneously Researcher of the Research Council of the National University of Rosario, as well as Professor of Biological Chemistry at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the same University. At the same time, she participates in the post-graduate course in pediatrics and traumatology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of Rosario.

  3. Hamidullah Salimi

    Osaka City University

    japan

I have finished my PhD at the Osaka City University post graduate school of Medicine, worked on human ligament flavum, to assess the gene expression changes and their function in hypertrophy of human LF.

As LSCS is a common and multifactorial pathology in elderly, and mostly treated surgically, therefore I aimed to contribute to non-surgical treatment of spinal canal stenosis with inhibition of responsible genes, in which using DNA microarray we could indicate all those genes elevated because of mechanical stress. And I have evaluated the expression through immunohistochemistry and function of genes responsible for the inflammation, fibrosis, chondrogenesis and other related processes such as cells proliferation, cells migration, changes in cells morphology and myofibroblastic differentiation.
Besides I worked on effect of minimal invasive decompression surgery on sagittal spinopelvic parameters and clinical outcomes in mid to long-term follow up on the patients with LSCS also between different groups of patients such as LSCS patients with coexisting Scoliosis or spondylolisthesis. As well as I worked on development of novel method for the assessment of back muscle strength and cross-sectional area of paravertebral muscles measuring trunk muscle mass using bioelectrical impedance analyzer.

To be mentioned, my recent work is about evaluation of risk factors for residual low back pain after Balloon Kyphoplasty procedure in patients having Osteoporotic vertebral body fracture. Also work on effectiveness of novel fixator for the release of adductor contracture of first web space in hand.

Besides, as the injury to the white-white zone of medial meniscus is always happening to the sport men and its surgical management is challenging and controversial, we have recently developed a novel method for the surgical treatment of medial meniscus repair using fibrin and we performed research in mentioned regard which was just accepted in an international Journal.
