Currently is an associate professor at Division of Ocean Science and Technology, Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, China. Has extensive experiences in the area of Marine Environmental Science and Ecotoxicology, with emphasis on   Marine ecotoxicology of emerging chemicals, esp. the fate, transport, transformation, bioaccumulation and toxicity of manufactured nanomaterials, plastic particles, POPs and heavy metals etc. in aquatic environment.

    Biography: Graduated in Biology Science from Universidade Estadual de Londrina (Paraná, Brazil -2000), PhD at Ecology from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil - 2008). Part of her PhD studies was at Institut Quimic Sarrià from Institut Químic Sarrià (Barcelona, Spain - 2007).

    Currently, she is a Professor in the Universidade Federal do Pará (Brazilian Amazon, Altamira, Pará - since 2011), where she teaches different subjects, like Ecology, Bioethics and Health and Environmental.
    Tatiana has experience in Genetics, focusing on Environmental Mutagenesis, acting on the following subjects: micronucleus and comet assay, ames assay, salmonella/microsome assay, organic compounds, Amazon contamination, mercury, soil and aquatic contamination.

In the area osmoregulation, my main interest is adaptation of Van Fish (Alburnus tarichi) in highly alkaline and brackish water of Lake Van.

    Dr. Eren OGUT, PhD, is currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Anatomy, Bahcesehir University School of Medicine, Ä°stanbul, Turkey. He graduated from Ä°stanbul University, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, Ä°stanbul, Turkey. He obtained his masters at Akdeniz University School of Medicine, Department of Anatomy, Antalya, Turkey. Field of Study: Regeneration process of peripheral nerve injury. He worked as a doctorate student at Universita Degli di Siena, Department of Anatomy, Siena, Italy. He has got his PhD degree from Akdeniz University School of Medicine, Department of Anatomy, Antalya, Turkey. Field of Study: Learning and Memory process on on neurobehavioral deficits and hippocampal tissue damages. He published a lot of scientific articles and more than fourty proceedings related with neuroanatomy, neurotoxicology and morphological anatomy. He is also involved in teaching master and doctorate students in the field of Neuroscience.

    Dr. Malafaia (Guilherme) He is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology Goiano (Goiás State, Brazil). He received a bachelor’s degree from Federal University of Ouro Preto, a MS from Federal University of Goiás, PhD and Postdoc from Federal University of Goiás, all related to Environmental and Biological Sciences. He is directing the Biological Research Laboratory with a focus on the ecotoxicological assessment of emerging pollutants, including micro- and nanoplastics, nanomaterials, nanofibers, pesticides, drug residues, etc. The ongoing research projects in his lab use different animal species as model systems (eg: mice, zebrafish, guppy, Amazon-turtle, tadpole, Japanese quails, mosquito larvae, earthworms, and dragonfly larvae, in addition to aquatic and native plants from Brazilian Cerrado). He has published over 240 journal papers and several books. In addition, he has served as a reviewer for more than 170 international journals. He is an advisor for scientific initiation (undergraduate students), master's and doctorate, in addition to post-doctoral internship.
