In vitro fertilization is a reproductive technology where the egg is fertilized with the sperm outside the body. Abbreviated as IVF, this technique is opted by couples suffering from infertility. In case of a risk of passing genetic defects in a pregnancy, IVF is opted to prevent the imminent genetic abnormalities. IVF can be associated with many moral and legal obligations in cases such as donated sperm or egg.

It is thus very important to stay knowledgeable in these process both in the perspective of users of technology and researchers trying to improve the technology. Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences can become the right source of scholarly articles regarding IVF and provides unconstrained access to the scientific content to medical workers, researchers, scientists and also to those inclined to choose this treatment. Experimental research on in vitro fertilization can lead to many scientific as well as health breakthroughs and the open access journals can serve as record keepers of this processes.
