My work broadly concentrates on the chemical transformation and utilization of biomassresources. I have spearheaded a few interdisciplinary initiatives that combine expertise inthe fields of polymer synthesis and materials chemistry. I am interested in the atom-efficient,ecofriendly, highly efficient chemical transformations of a variety of biomass intosustainable intermediates, polymer auxiliaries, bioplastics, elastomers and advancedbio-based materials.
