Guest Editor Guidelines
How to propose and manage a JBRES Special Issue as a Guest Editor.
What Is a Special Issue?
A JBRES Special Issue is a thematic collection of peer-reviewed articles on a focused topic within the journal's scope. Special Issues are typically proposed and managed by Guest Editors — recognized experts in the relevant field — in collaboration with the JBRES editorial office.
How to Propose a Special Issue
Submit a proposal using our Special Issue Proposal form. Your proposal should include:
- Proposed title of the special issue
- Scientific rationale — why this topic deserves a dedicated issue now
- List of 10–15 potential article topics or invited contributors
- Proposed submission deadline and publication timeline
- Brief biography of the proposed Guest Editor(s)
The Editorial Board reviews proposals and responds within 14 days.
Guest Editor Responsibilities

- Identifying and inviting qualified reviewers for each submission

- Ensuring that the special issue is completed by the agreed deadline
Guest Editor Benefits

Ethical Requirements
