Aims & Scope
JBRES covers the full spectrum of biomedical and environmental research — from molecular biology to ecosystem science and clinical applications.
Journal Aims
The Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences (JBRES) aims to provide an internationally recognized, peer-reviewed, open-access platform for the publication of high-quality research across the life, biomedical, and environmental sciences. Our core aims are:
- To publish rigorously peer-reviewed original research, reviews, and case reports that advance scientific understanding in biomedical and environmental fields.
- To provide transparent, rigorous, and author-supportive publishing services with full open access from the date of publication.
- To bridge the gap between basic research and clinical or applied practice.
- To give equal opportunity to researchers from high-income and low-to-middle-income countries to share their findings with the global scientific community.
- To promote interdisciplinary research at the intersection of biology, medicine, environmental science, chemistry, and public health.
Scope of the Journal
Although multidisciplinary, JBRES maintains a coherent editorial focus: research that advances understanding of human and animal health and the environment that shapes it — spanning the biomedical, clinical, pharmaceutical/health, environmental, and agricultural/biological sciences, and the interfaces between them. Manuscripts are handled by section editors with relevant subject expertise. We welcome submissions from, but are not limited to, the following subject areas:
