Zahra Safaei a junior researcher at the department of separation science, Lapeenranta Universityof Technology-Finland, working on her doctoral thesis. She received her bachelor’s degree inapplied chemistry and her master’s degree in analytical chemistry. Author or co-author of morethan 40+ internationally refereed scientific papers. In addition, she has acted as a reviewer inacademic journals and instructor of master theses. Her interest is Environmental Monitoring,Analysis and Modeling. she is endeavors to advance the understanding of statistical and ecologicaltheories, environmental risk assessment, and the monitoring of a variety of chemical compoundsentering the aquatic environment, especially the emerging pollutants targeted by strict regulatoryframeworks. Toward this goal, she is engaged in multilateral international research and scientificcollaboration with academia and industries, in Finland and across the world.
