Biography

He holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Uberlândia,Brazil (UFU), a master's degree and a PhD in Applied Immunology and Parasitology(UFU), with a postdoctoral degree in Biotechnology and Structural Biology at theUniversity of Oxford, United Kingdom. Participated in the official mission to transferHIV, Syphilis, Leptospirosis and Leishmaniasis diagnostic kits and the 10-valentpneumococcal vaccine to the Brazilian Health System. Winner of the Alcides GodoyAward (Fiocruz). He currently works at Fiocruz, in technical-scientific cooperationwith UFU. He has experience in clinical immunology, methods for immunodiagnosticsand industrial biotechnology, with emphasis on: allergen sensitization; aeroallergenbiochemistry; nanoconjugation; development of recombinant proteins and antibodies;scaling and quality control in immunobiologicals; production of conjugate vaccines;development and production of immunobiologicals and diagnostic kits; research qualitymanagement.
