Biography
Mr. Xiao Yang is currently a PhD student in the Department of Poultry Science at the Universityof Georgia (UGA). He is an active member of the Integrative Precision Agriculture group at UGA.With more than 9 years of experiences in nutrition, animal science, and machine learning, Mr.Xiao Yang has made notable contributions to the scientific community. His research findingshave been published in more than 13 prestigious peer-reviewed journals, including AnimalNutrition, Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, Engineering Applications of ArtificialIntelligence, Journal of Environmental Management, and Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture.In addition to his research endeavors, Mr. Xiao Yang serves as an editorial board member forSciBase Critical Care and Emergency Medicine. Furthermore, he generously contributes hisexpertise as a reviewer for over 11 distinguished journals and international conferences,including IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, The First Workshop onDL-Hardware Co-Design for AI Acceleration, Frontiers Bioengineering, Process Biochemistry,British Poultry Science, PeerJ Computer Science, Frontiers in Medicine, Discover Oncology,Frontiers in Immunology, and Computational and Mathematical Methods.Mr. Xiao Yang's exceptional abilities have been recognized through numerous accolades andawards. Notably, he achieved the 1st Prize in the Outstanding Student Hackathon Poultry TrackCompetition in 2023, received the Gainesville Spring Chicken Scholarship Award 1st Prize in thesame year, and secured a Graduate Student Summer Research Grant in 2023. Furthermore, heattained the 3rd prize at the Poultry Science Forum in 2022.Mr. Xiao Yang is an esteemed member of professional organizations such as the Poultry ScienceAssociation (PSA) and the World Poultry Science Association (WPSA), where he actively engagesin knowledge sharing and collaboration with fellow industry experts.
