Biography

My name is Mozhgan Keshavarz and I hold a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University in Iran. I was a Ph.D. visiting researcher at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain), at the department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology for 8 months in 2020.During the course of my studies, I developed a set of different lab and management skills. For my Ph.D. degree thesis, I fabricated bioactive scaffolds/hydrogels and studied their mechanical and biological properties for bone tissue engineering applications. I have deeply focused and working on bioactive glass ceramics and polymers, preparation and characterization of multifunctional nanocomposite hydrogels & scaffolds with improved mechanical and biological properties. Specifically, I experienced in tissue engineering field, additive manufacturing methods, fabrication of hydrogels, 3D scaffolds, expertise in cell culture and differentiation of stem cells.
