Jessie Evans and her team at Journal of Biomedical Research and Environmental Sciences faced such a challenge when presented with an article about how to die. Normally, a medical journal expects articles about how to save lives and prevent suffering. Here was a Professor of Advanced Medicine explaining how to die. Was he crazy? Fortunately, they saw that this was a deliberate provocation. It was a way to get readers to think about the dangers to health. Jessieâ€™s team read the article, understood the authorâ€™s intent and quickly got it published without any changes. They were up to the challenge of an innovative author.
