Petra Staubach-Renz

Dr. Petra Staubach-Renz a Senior Physician and Managing Director, Clinical Research Centre, Department of Dermatology, University Medical Center Mainz, Germany.

Professor Staubach-Renz has specialised in dermatology since 2000 and in 2004 she became the Managing Director of the Clinical Research Center in the Department of Dermatology at the University Medical Center, Mainz. As part of this role, she has initiated and performed multiple clinical trials for both diagnostics and novel therapies across all dermatological fields.

In the clinic, Professor Staubach-Renz treats a wide range of dermatological conditions including all subtypes of urticaria, angioedema, mastocytosis and atopic dermatitis. In addition, in 2014 she started a specialised outpatient clinic for skin diseases in children.

In addition to several published articles, Professor Staubach-Renz is a leading member of the Urticaria Network and has co-authored two patient advice booklets for people with urticaria.
