Biography

Dr. Rodrigo da Silva Ferreira obtained his Biological Sciences - Bachelor degree and Masters in Biochemistry from Federal University of Pernambuco, PhD in Sciences (Molecular Biology) from Federal University of SÃ£o Paulo (Unifesp). He worked with interaction of (glyco)proteins (lectins and glycosaminoglycan-binding proteins) with
ligands by fluorescence, circular dichroism (CD), surface plasmon resonance (SPR), isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), microscale thermophoresis (MST). He has been working in the Pos-doctoral (Unifesp) with gold nanoparticles: interaction with human proteins, such as carrier of glycosaminoglycan-binding proteins, which acts on the metabolism of cancer.
