Pooyan Makvandi

Pooyan Makvandi is a researcher at Institute for Polymers, Composites and Biomaterials (IPCB), National Research Council (CNR), Naples, Italy. Prior to joining CNR, he worked at Department of Engineering for Innovation of the University of Salento, Lecce, Italy, as visiting researcher. He studied Polymer Chemistry and completed his MSc at University of Tehran and PhD from University of Mazandaran, Iran.
His works focus on restorative dentistry and biomedical hydrogels specifically dental materials, resin nanocomposites, antimicrobial compounds, nanomaterials, and polysaccharides.
