Summary
Prof. Dr. Ricardo Hsieh is a doctor in Dental Surgery at School of Dentistry, the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2004) and first scientific research started during undergraduate education, followed the graduation education (Master and Ph.D. degree) at Department of Dermatology, School of Medicine, University of São Paulo (2012). Completed Post-doctoral program at Department of Pathology and Stomatology of School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo (2016), Brazil. In 2015, I was an Associate Research Scientist at the Department of Pathology, Yale School of Medicine developing multicenter collaboration research. All my research projects and subject have been involving photo-protected sites melanomas (mainly Oral mucosal and Acral lentiginous types); Fetal melanocytes and Salivary glands development; our research group had built a Primary Oral Mucosal Melanoma cell lines by cell culture; and others Dermatological and Stomatological diseases research studies (as Oral squamous cell carcinoma, mucoepidermoid carcinoma, and Oral Lupus). Currently, I am a Researcher at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, University of São Paulo, Brazil, and Professor of General Pathology at Federal University of Alfenas, Brazil. I have some research grants from the Brazilian Funding Agency (CNPq, FAPESP, and FUNADERM) and several awards from many international conferences. Currently, join as a member of Editorial and/or Reviewer Board from different international journals.
